Plumbing Code
The Plumbing Code adopted by the Board of Supervisors is the PA.UCC. The UCC adopted the 2009 International Plumbing Code, first edition. The plumbing code adopted for one and two family detached and attached dwellings and their accessory structures is the 2009 International Residential Code, first edition, chapter 25 through chapter 32. The ordinance may be viewed by accessing Chapter 116 of The Code of the Township of Whitpain.
Applications for plumbing and lateral permits including instructions for submission of these applications may be downloaded from the Forms and Permits section. Plumbing permit fees will not be accepted at the time of application. Fees will only be accepted at the time of issuance of the permit.
