Mechanical Code

The Mechanical Code adopted by the Board of Supervisors is the PA.UCC. The UCC adopted the 2009 International Mechanical code, first edition. The Mechanical Code adopted for one and two family detached and attached dwellings and their accessory structure is the 2009 International Residential Code, first edition. Chapter 12 through Chapter 24 inclusive.

Mechanical Permit Applications including instructions for submission of these applications may be downloaded from the Forms and Permits section. Mechanical Permit Fees will not be accepted at the time of application. Fees are only accepted at the issuance of the permit.

The average time limit for permit processing is the same as that noted for building permits.
