Services

Fingerprinting

The Police Department provides fingerprinting services for those who live or work in the Township. This might be required for an adoption, employment application, licensing or immigration. This service is free to residents. There is a fee for fingerprinting for those that work in the township. The cost is $15 per person for up to three cards and then $5 per card for each additional card. This service will be provided on an appointment basis.

Safe Bike Program

The Police Department offers a bicycle registration program that could be a help if a bike is ever lost or stolen. Upon completing a Safe Bike Registration Form you will receive a sticker that can be applied to your bike. If the bike is recovered, a simple phone call to the Police Department can reunite the bicycle and its owner and possibly aid in an arrest.

Protection from Abuse Orders

Protection From Abuse ("PFA") orders are handled by the Montgomery County Prothonatary's Office, which is located on the first floor of the Montgomery County Court House. The Prothonotary's Office will provide you with the appropriate paperwork and provide further directions. They can be reached at 610-278-3660.
