The Second Alarmers Rescue Squad and Association of Montgomery County, Inc. provides emergency medical services in Whitpain. The Second Alarmers are located on the grounds of the Township Building located at 960 Wentz Road.
Please join the Second Alarmers on Saturday, May 17, 2014, as they cut the ribbon and dedicate their new Whitpain Township EMS Station. The festivities will run from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Included are guest speakers and an open house tour of the facility.
The Second Alarmers was chartered in 1938 and started as a canteen service for fire and police personnel. Since then, they have grown to be one of the largest providers of emergency medical services in Montgomery County.
The Second Alarmers do not receive tax dollars from Whitpain Township. The association is permitted to complete a subscription drive each year to allow residents to become members of the ambulance squad. The township asks all of our residents and business to support the Second Alarmers when you receive your annual subscription request.
