Recreation
The Parks and Recreation Department strives to provide a variety of quality leisure programs and services which capture the interest of township residents of all ages.

Newsletters are mailed out in the Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter. The newsletter is generally an 8-12 page tool used to spread information regarding trips, sports classes, events, community bulletin board, discount tickets, as well as a convenient registration form. Register at www.whitpainrec.com.
From trips to concerts, camps to movies, open space preservation to the annual senior games, the Parks and Recreation Department offers something for everyone.
We encourage all residents to come on out for a leisurely day of outdoor activity at any of our beautiful township park
The Whitpain Township Park System is comprised of more than 400 acres of open space and parkland
The Park and Open Space Board assists the Board of Supervisors in planning for the acquisition of future parks and open spaces in Whitpain and the evaluation of what uses are the most appropriate for Township parks and open spaces.
Discount tickets for amusement parks, skiing, and movies are available at the township Monday - Friday 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
