Meet the Board of Supervisors

A five-member Board of Supervisors governs Whitpain Township. Members of the Board are elected at-large by residents and serve six-year terms.

The Supervisors appoint professionals who manage the day-to-day operations of the Township and name residents to the various volunteer boards and commissions that contribute to the quality of life in Whitpain.

• Joseph J. Palmer, Chairperson
  Joseph J. Palmer has served on the Board of Supervisors since January, 1996 and has been the chairman of the Board since January, 2008.
• Adam Zucker, Vice Chairman
  Adam Zucker served on the Zoning Hearing Board from July, 1998 through December, 2007. He has served on the Board of Supervisors since January, 2008.
• Anthony F. Greco, Secretary
  Anthony F. Greco served on the Planning Commission from January, 1978 through January, 1987. He then served on the Zoning Hearing Board from January, 1987 to March, 1997. He has served on the Board of Supervisors since March, 1997.
• Frederick R. Conner, Jr., Treasurer
  Frederick R. Conner, Jr. served on the Planning Commission from September, 2006 through December, 2008. He then served on the Zoning Hearing Board from January, 2009 through November, 2009. He has served on the Board of Supervisors since November, 2009.
• Melissa Murphy Weber, Asst. Secretary
  Melissa Murphy Weber has served on the Zoning Hearing Board from 2009 through December, 2011.
