Street Sweeper Returns

Due to unseasonably warm conditions, the Township’s street sweeper hit the roads once again last week. 

In addition to keeping roadways looking clean, the street sweeper performs an important environmental function as it removes debris and sediment from roads that would otherwise be washed into storm sewers and ultimately streams.

If you encounter the street sweeper when driving, please use caution in the area. The street sweeper will make three to four complete passes through the Township this year, starting on main roads and eventually working its way into neighborhoods.
