Retiring Township Manager Honored
After a long career with Whitpain Township with stints as Township Engineer, Assistant Manager, and ultimately Township Manager, Roman Pronczak officially retired on June 4.
A large contingent of friends, family, and staff members were joined by current and former Township Supervisors to celebrate Roman’s career at Tuesday’s Board meeting.
“It’s been a pleasure to work for the people of Whitpain Township for the last 28 years, and a true honor to serve as manager for the last 13,” Roman said. “I had the good fortune to work with many supportive Township Supervisors and a tremendous group of Township staff members for nearly three decades. I am extremely grateful to have had the opportunity to serve such a wonderful community.”
Roman was presented with commemorative gifts and honored with a citation from the state House of Representatives and a proclamation from the Whitpain Township Board of Supervisors. The Supervisors also renamed the large meeting room at the Township Building to “The Pronczak Room.”
