Mermaid Park Stream Naturalization Discussed
Future plans to remove the dam and naturalize the stream at Mermaid Park were discussed at the Board of Supervisors’ work session meeting on April 2.
The Township’s Consultant, Dr. Laura Craig, presented conceptual plans and discussed the ecological and stormwater benefits of a naturalized waterway.
The project remains in a conceptual planning phase and more engineering work must occur before the Township could look at grant funding options for this significant infrastructure project.
