Earlier this week, the Township was recognized by the Greater Valley Forge Transportation Management Association (GVF) with a Diamond Level Transportation Demand Management (TDM) award.
TDMs are strategies that aim to reduce congestion and improve the environment and our quality of life. Examples include using different modes of transportation like a bus, bike or walking.
Twenty-seven businesses, organizations, and governmental entities received recognition at the ceremony. Whitpain has been recognized with this award since 2014.
